About The Project
Stobhill Mental Health facility was commissioned and built in response to the increasing recognition of the challenges of mental health. It was designed to provide accessible, safe and effective modern facilities connected to nature by light and air to best support patients and staff.
Design by Keppie Architects, the facility was declared an essential build during the height of the Covid pandemic, with suppliers and contractors rallying together to ensure completion of a facility that would significantly contribute toward supporting the mental health of local communities and setting a bar for other health care organisations.
Stobhill Mental Health Facility has won two design awards and been nominated and commended for many more.
Kilpatrick Blane Services were delighted to be able to support the provision and installation of the Natural Ventilation controls, operating 14 rooflights, in spite of the challenges brought on by the pandemic and lockdown.
