About the role
As an Estimator at KBS, you’ll play a crucial role in accurately estimating projects, creating quotes, and preparing detailed take-offs and costings for our window control solutions. From project values ranging from £200 to £2,000,000, you’ll demonstrate commercial awareness and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities
- Experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, preferably with knowledge of smoke and natural ventilation solutions.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications, matching our products and services to customer requirements.
- Proficiency in interpreting regulatory data, including building control regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate project estimates and quotes.
- Excellent client service and communication skills, engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving customer needs and business requirements.
- Highly numerate with strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Commercial awareness in building up pricing work and proposals to customers.
